FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1. How much is the full course?
   This depends on the city and the sponsor for the course, however the range is between $499.00 and $899.00
2. How much upfront?
   Again it depends on the location and sponsor, but standard has been a $300 deposit.
3. Final payment is due? 
   All payments are due by the start of each class, unless other payment arrangements have been made prior to class.
4. How many days?
   The course is a 3-month course and students must attend class one scheduled weekend per month, Sat. and Sun. 9am - 5pm each day.
5. How many hours to complete course?
   This is a 120-hour course.
6. Is it done over two weekends or can it be completed in one weekend?
   There are intensive courses that are sponsored sometimes during the year, and yes they vary in two weekends or a weeklong study.
7. Do you get a legal certificate?
   Yes, students may apply for the naturopath license with the Department of Health in DC.  That information is given to the graduates.
8. What are you licensed to do and it what states?
   Dr. Afrika is an ND, Licensed Naturopath, and he follows the Municipal Naturopathy Regulations defined and put forth by the District of Columbia. Let us know if you need any other information.
